Our brother, friend, and fellow Redeye, Ian Wiles, passed away on December 28, 2010 after a life long battle against Thalassemia. His love and passion is still carried on through our music and our lives. There is no doubt that he has affected us in many ways and changed many lives. We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few moments to donate to this cause. Any amount would be appreciated! We fully support this cause and take donations at all of our shows.
Thank you from The Redeyes and the friends and family of Ian J. Wiles.
This rare but life-threatening, hereditary blood disorder is not just a single disorder but a group of disorders which affects the human body in many ways and in many forms. Like the few others with Thalassemia Major or Cooley's Anemia, Ian suffered from Pulmonary Hypertension, Liver Failure, Osteoporosis, transfusion issues, cardiac issues, blood clots, and many other rare but serious conditions. Much research has been performed in light of this disease but no cure has been found.
Please help us to raise funds and awareness as we strive to find a cure.
